My little plastic car

I found an article about this technique, called tilt-shift photography… It requires a special lens to do this directly with your camera, but the effect can be faked with Photoshop. I think it looks pretty cool!

Chestnuts roasting on an open fire…

photo.jpg
Desiree and I made Chestnuts on the open fire tonight…  It took a LOT longer than I thought it would - about and hour. When they were finally done, they were great! We ate them with Port and Stilton cheese. Yummy!

Hey, baby!…

photo.jpg

Desiree and I went to visit Susan and Marvin’s baby, Ellie today. OK, so everyone says their baby is the cutest ever, but Ellie definitely qualifies for the honor. She is very calm and attentive… even when she was tired and ready for a nap, she kind of yelped a bit, but never broke into the screaming cry you so often hear. They are blessed to have her, and we were blessed to be able to send so much quality time with her! My only regret… that it took me so long to get over there and see her!

Shrimp Vindaloo with Sharataki Noodles

Fried some onions until soft, added some Patak’s Vindaloo paste, shrimp, water, chicken stock, and Shirataki noodles (made from Yam starch… low fat and tastes pretty good!). Simmer ’till done and serve! If you don’t LOVE spicy food, watch out… Patak’s is hot.

Beatles in the park

The band Backbeat played Beatles music tonight in Fairmont Park. They even wore costumes that matched the different eras of the music. Here they are in Sgt. Pepper outfits…
