I have been welding for about a year and a half. I use a MIG process for my work, and can weld a variety of materials including mild steel, stainless steel, and aluminum. I primarily work with mild steel, which provides a nice rusty patina if left outside (which I find desirable), or a dull metal finish if kept dry.
I enjoy creating pieces that move, especially rolling ball sculptures. I also enjoy working with people to create something that is meaningfull to them, by incorporating rocks or other items that they have chosen.
