I saw this cool little plane model at the Orange Blossom Festival… It was from the March AFB Museum. It looked like the kids were loving it! I wanted to sit in it and get a picture, but I was too embarrassed! I guess I’ll have to go to the museum and “check it out” some other time!

…though they are mostly behind the scenes. I upgraded Wordpress to version 2.0.2. This went [surprisingly] smoothly. This will hopefully allow me to start integrating some newer and nifty-er plug-ins to my site. For example, I just added one called Lightbox that adds a pretty cool effect to opening images. click on the Coke can below to see an example. Pretty neat, no?
Mark and I met for a few beers at the Goat Hill Tavern for a beer or two on the evening of Mother’s Day. It was nice to spend a little time hanging out!
I enjoyed a nice meal of Chanko Nabe tonight… That’s the soup that Sumo wrestlers eat daily to bulk up and get their energy. The restuarant is named Shin Sen Gumi, and it is highly recommended! I don’t think I’d better eat this every day…
In case you are wondering, I visited Alpine Village in Torrance on the way to the restaurant. That’s the picture of the beer taps…
