Reflections on Christmas

So, another Chrstmas has come and gone. I spent most of the day alone (by choice), waking at 12:00 noon, going to see Memoirs of a Geisha, then making a nice Christmas duck with chestnut stuffing. I topped off the day with a quick visit at Wendy’s house to exchange gifts… In all, a wonderful day.

I cannot believe that it has been another year gone by. So much has changed, and it has been mostly for the better! This year, I put up lights and a tree (a first for me!), and really got to enjoy the Christmas spirit spending time at the Mission Inn at night. For some reason, it feels like people are more friendly and in the spirit of things this year. Or maybe it’s just me… Either way, I like it!

So much has changed. I am proud of you for all the good that you have made from the bad things that have happened. You are a poster boy for “change is good!” Next Christmas, more lights and a bigger tree!!

Thanks for all your company and help driving the carriages around and around the Mission Inn. Your enthusiasm was contagious. The holiday spirit was alive and well. We had the prettiest horse there.

    Wendy
